Kosi Embankment: A Panacea turned into Suffering by Bhavesh Nandan
A vast stretch of 340 villages, with close to 12 lakh people, in the Mithila region of Bihar has fallen prey to policy-makers' passivity. Embankments on the river Kosi have brought grave sufferings and destruction in the guise of a panacea.
Bhavesh Nandan forayed into filmmaking through journalism. A Master's in Mass Communication with Diploma in TV Journalism, Bhavesh's contributes to national dailies often as freelance journalist. He has worked on documentaries, TV serials and Ad films. Bhavesh hails from Madhubani (Bihar) and lives in Delhi.
