Shail and Nadeem are two young men who live in the basti of Nizamuddin, New Delhi. Both from poor families, they dream of breaking out of the rut, through their music. They formed a music group – Painfull Rockstars – singing songs of love and heartbreak. The Film is about their dreams.

A national level table tennis player, Professor of Economics at Delhi University, Pankaj Butalia has more than fifteen documentary films to his credit. Most of his documentaries have been screened extensively throughout the world, while Moksha won four major international awards. His first feature - Karvaan, starring Naseeruddin Shah and Kitu Gidwani, won a special award at Amiens and has been screened at Venice, Toronto, Rotterdam, Belgium, among other places.
