Swayam by Arun Chadha
Through the experience of SHGs in parts of South India, the Film examines the socio-economic impact of women’s self-help groups and the micro credit mechanism.

Arun Chadha graduated from FTII and has been making documentaries and short films on various social and developmental issues for over three decades. His films have been shown in various festivals in India and abroad and have won several awards, including the National Film Award. Arun has also been a jury member at national and international film festivals.
