The Women in Blue Berets by Farida Pacha
Liberia, a nation scarred by years of brutal civil war, stands at a critical moment in its history as it heads for its second democratic election in October 2011. Assisting the UN peacekeeping operations is a special unit from India – an all-women police contingent. The first such unit of its kind. Will the Indian policewomen succeed in their mission to keep the peace in Liberia?
