Bahurupiya by Sidharth Srinivasan
An exploration of the lives of two folk performers, Kishan Bahurupiya is a low-caste Punjabi Hindu who transforms into a monkey, while Abdul Hamid is a Muslim Bhand from Rajasthan who assumes the mythical role of the Hindu demon king Ravana .The film chronicles their love for their art.

Sidharth Srinivasan started out as assistant to renowned filmmaker Kumar Shahani. He has made documentaries for UNESCO, served on the NETPAC jury and at various festivals including Pacific Meridian, Berlin, Tallinn Black Knights and Dhaka. His feature Pairon Talle premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival.
